Angola and Botswana to cooperate for diamonds

Angola to enter into agreement with the latter

Angola is looking at signing a diamond cooperation agreement with Botswana, apart from its negotiations with Mozambique and Namibia. It currently holds two agreements, one each with South Africa and Democratic Republic of Congo.

Patrick Balopi, Botswana Parliament speaker, had visited Manuel Africano, Minister of Geology and Mining, Angola, to understand the country’s mineral production. He affirmed Botswana’s interest in co-existing relations with Angola, for diamonds.
