Kalyan Jewellers to change 'My Kalyan' centres into Diamond Stores in Tamil Nadu

Leading jewellery entity Kalyan Jewellers plans to further penetrate its retail presence of diamond jewellery, and is thus intending to convert its customer service outlets in Tamil Nadu into mini Diamond Stores, reports say. The service outlets are named as ‘My Kalyan’ centres. Through the Diamond Stores the company would retail diamond jewellery with price brackets between Rs 5,000 to Rs 25,000.

The retail stores would serve to create awareness and make accessing its jewellery more easy, reports say. It would also escalate the presence of Kalyan Jewellers in Tamil Nadu to be one of the largest retail chains. It currently has 145 My Kalyan centres in Tamil Nadu and around 600 in India, as per reports.

Overall, Kalyan Jewellers is also planning expansion pan India with a recent launch of the world’s largest showroom in Chennai, and further four stores in Chrompet, Adyar, Vellacherry and Anna Nagar, reports add.
