Indian jewellers are noting a potential in expanding their retail presence in the Gulf region, citing a growing demand for gem and jewellery there, reports say. Prominent jewellers like Kalyan Jewellers, PN Gadgil Jewellers and others are looking at expand in the region. PN Gadgil plans to open a first 3,000 square feet store in Dubai's Meena Bazaar soon, as per reports. The jeweller notes that Dubai hold great potential for Indian jewellery, as jewellery is cheaper there compared to India and it has grown into a hub spot for NRI business. Also, the growing demand for gold and optimism in consumer buying behavior makes it a potential zone for jewellers to grow there, reports say.
