In order to make purchase of diamonds more convenient for the Russian jewellery manufacturers and dealers, Kristall, which is a state-owned Russian DTC sightholder, has opened a new commercial office in Moscow, on September 4. The large-scale diamond purchasers would usually have to travel to Smolensk to buy the stones.

At the Moscow office, the diamond can be purchased on cash and non-cash payment basis. The office would also have in-house experts to guide the buyers, and would stock diamonds polished in Smolensk.
