Flawless Diamond India Ltd., records growth

Enjoys a high after-tax profit

Flawless Diamond India Ltd. has witnessed a growth in its after-tax profit from Rs. Rs.5.33 million ($132,700) last year to 45.26 million ($1.13 million) in the first quarter of 2007.

Its retail venture Aum jewellery launched last year, currently retails through other stores. In an expansion mode, the company has also tied-up with Pallazio � a high-end jewellery and watch retailer. The company recorded a gross income of Rs.1,240.99 million ($30.9 million), rising from Rs. 366.1 million ($9.1 million) in the previous first quarter.
