Tanishq unveils the ‘Ganga’ collection

The collection is inspired by themes of purity and divinity

Tanishq, India’s leading national jeweller launched the expertly crafted ‘Ganga’ collection. Designed in 18k gold and studded with diamond and polki, the collection draws inspiration from the purity, divinity and the journey of Ganga, one of India’s most revered rivers. Comprising a wide range that includes earrings, pendants, bangles and necklaces, the Ganga collection is priced from Rs.35,000 onwards and is available at Tanishq outlets across the country. The collection is targeted towards the progressive Indian woman. The collection complements eternal beauty and epitomizes style and elegance.

Speaking about the collection, Mr. Sandeep Kulhalli, Vice President, Retail and Marketing, Tanishq said, “At Tanishq our aim is to make the jewellery segment more innovative and exciting. Given the more aware and learned consumer base, it has become imperative to differentiate collections on parameters like design and material. The Ganga collection has been crafted with utmost attention to detail, thereby making each piece a statement.”

Each piece of the collection is highlighted by white gold, diamonds and precious uncut stones and reflects a mood of the river Ganga in both design and colour as she makes her way down from her origin in Gangotri. The four moods are Sthira (Calm), Nritya (Flow), Krodha (Fury) and Sangama (Confluence).

Speaking about the design aesthetics of the Ganga collection, Revathi Kant, General Manager - Design, Innovation & Development, Tanishq said, “The River Ganga is of special significance to every Indian. Drawing inspiration from an icon such as this was a challenge – we worked with new-age techniques and our efforts in maintaining uniqueness has paid off. Each piece highlights the emotions of Ganga. This collection will set new benchmarks in Indian jewellery design space.”
