Rapaport introduces a groundbreaking Natural Pearls Auction, featuring 340 lots of exquisite pearls in various shapes, sizes, and hues, available for viewing in New York, Bahrain, and online. With bids closing on March 8, this auction presents a unique opportunity for jewellery designers and manufacturers seeking truly distinctive gems.

These natural pearls, untouched by human intervention, originate directly from Bahraini divers operating under stringent government supervision to ensure environmental sustainability and habitat protection. Each pearl is meticulously graded and certified as natural by DANAT, the Bahrain Institute of Pearls and Gemstones.

Viewings in New York are scheduled from February 23 to 27, while Bahrain viewings will take place from March 4 to 8, alongside online viewings throughout the period. Interested parties can request a catalogue and bid form for participation.

Bidding concludes on March 8, 11am EST/7pm Bahrain Time, with winners notified promptly thereafter. Martin Rapaport, Chairman of the Rapaport Group, expressed enthusiasm for this collaboration with DANAT, emphasizing the creation of a market for responsibly sourced natural pearls.

Noora Jamsheer, CEO of DANAT, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the opportunity for Bahraini divers to engage directly with the global jewellery industry through this initiative.
