QWEEN has entered into a partnership with UK-based design and strategy firm Dalziel & Pow to plan and develop its new jewellery retail stores in India. The engagement covers QWEEN’s first locations in Bangalore and Delhi.
This marks Dalziel & Pow’s first assignment in India’s jewellery retail sector. The studio has designed the physical store layouts and customer journey for QWEEN’s upcoming outlets, which will each measure between 5,000 and 6,000 sq. ft. The stores are scheduled to open in March 2026.
Amit Kumar of QWEEN said the brand was seeking an alternative to conventional jewellery store formats. “The jewellery industry, while celebrated, had settled into a comfortable predictability and remained stuck behind glass counters. And we wanted to change that,” he said.
Dalziel & Pow will work alongside QWEEN to implement store environments aligned with the brand’s retail approach. Tim Gravelling of Dalziel & Pow said QWEEN’s objective was to shift how jewellery is presented and experienced by consumers. “They wanted to change how the jewellery retail culture was built around intimidation, occasion, and inherited rules rather than personal choice,” he said.
The stores will retail more than 3,000 SKUs across over 20 collections, all produced using 100% natural gemstones and diamonds. Products will be grouped by customer mood rather than by metal type.
Indian retail design firm Four Dimensions has been appointed to execute the stores locally. Shyam Sunder K of Four Dimensions, said the company would translate the global design plans into operational retail environments for the Indian market.
