Danish jewellery brand Pandora has expanded its laboratory-grown diamond jewellery collections into Spain and Italy, marking the latest phase of its European growth strategy for laboratory-grown diamonds. The collections have been introduced through newly opened flagship stores in Barcelona and Milan, with additional retail availability across Italy.

The Barcelona flagship, which opened on June 12, is currently the only Pandora store in Spain offering the laboratory-grown diamond collection. In Italy, the collection is available at the Milan flagship, opened on 26 June, as well as in 40 additional stores nationwide and through the company's online platform.

The rollout includes Pandora's laboratory-grown diamond collections, including Pandora Infinite and Pandora Era. According to the company, the expansion aligns with its objective of making diamond jewellery accessible to a wider consumer base through contemporary designs and broader retail availability.

Pandora introduced its first laboratory-grown diamond collection in 2021 and has since transitioned exclusively to laboratory-grown diamonds across its diamond jewellery offering. The company now markets these collections in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Spain and Italy.

The company stated that its laboratory-grown diamonds are produced using 100% renewable electricity before being set in jewellery crafted from 100% recycled silver and gold. Earlier this year, Pandora also introduced carbon footprint labelling for its laboratory-grown diamonds, adding environmental impact information alongside the traditional diamond grading characteristics.

The expansion strengthens Pandora's presence in key European retail markets and reflects the continued growth of laboratory-grown diamond jewellery within the global fine jewellery sector. For the industry, the move underscores the increasing role of large international brands in expanding consumer awareness and retail distribution of laboratory-grown diamond jewellery across established luxury markets.
