Running from November 22–24 at La Cité, 71 rue de Réaumur, this free exhibit explores diamonds as symbols of cosmic creation, transformation, and timeless beauty.

Sieff’s photographs draw parallels between the formation of diamonds and the birth of the universe, featuring themes like explosive energy, cosmic silence, and transformation. The exhibition also highlights the diamond’s geological origins, juxtaposing its brilliance with kimberlite rock and timeless games like chess, offering reflections on permanence and impermanence.

Accompanied by videos from Canada’s Northwest Territories, *Big Bang* emphasizes sustainable diamond mining and its role in supporting indigenous communities. This immersive showcase reimagines diamonds as more than jewellery, celebrating them as enduring symbols of nature’s artistry.
