The 4.30-carat diamond, crafted by Surat-based Greenlab, represents a gesture of goodwill and admiration for U.S. leadership.

Greenlab, known for its expertise in lab-grown diamonds, previously made headlines in June 2023 when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented a 7.5-carat lab-grown gem to then-First Lady Jill Biden. The Trump Diamond continues the tradition of using lab-grown gemstones as symbols of diplomatic ties.

The creation of the diamond took two months in Greenlab’s state-of-the-art facilities, where the company produces an impressive 1.5 million carats of lab-grown diamonds annually. The diamond is expected to be gifted to the newly sworn-in U.S. president as a token of appreciation.

“This 4.30-carat masterpiece is more than a diamond—it’s a symbol of leadership, innovation, and the strong bond between India and the United States,” said Greenlab Director Smit Patel.

Lab-grown diamonds have gained popularity globally for their eco-friendly production process and ethical sourcing, and Greenlab is at the forefront of this revolution. The Trump Diamond not only showcases the technological advancements of India’s diamond industry but also highlights the cultural and economic ties between the two nations.
