GIA President to be guest of honor at IDW

International Diamond Week (IDW) at the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) will host Gemological Institute of America (GIA) President and CEO, Susan Jacques, as guest of honor, reports say. The event is slated between September 1-4, 2014.

says IDE President Shmuel Schnitzer identified the important role played by women in the sector’s pipeline today, stating that ‘Ms. Jacques is yet another shining example of how women have succeeded and climbed the career ladder in our industry,’, as reports suggest.

GIA President Susan Jacques wrote in an acceptance letter to the invite that she ‘appreciates the opportunity to share the experiences in her career, one which has taken many delightful turns’.
