Pandora launches ‘Hearts of Today’ initiative

Pandora has launched an initiative entitled ‘Hearts of Today’, directed at honouring and celebrating the efforts of everyday women in achieving the extraordinary to make a difference and inspire the lives of women and children in their local communities and across the world.

The jewellery company is inviting nominations for the same.

Voting will be on October 13, 2014. Pandora has assembled a panel of five inspirational women leaders with extensive philanthropic work, to select the semi-finalists. They include Ms. Andrea Alvey - Board of Directors for PANDORA Jewelry since August 2010, Raleigh; Ms. June Sarpong – Philanthropist, London; Ms. Penny Abeywardena - Human Rights Advocate, New York; Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Ph.D - Professor of Sociology at the University of Washington in Seattle; Ms. Shaun Robinson - Emmy Award-winning journalist, Los Angeles.

The final eight honorees will be announced at an exclusive PANDORA Hearts of Today event later this year, where each will also receive a special gift from PANDORA and a donation of $25,000 to further their cause.
