Hari Krishna Exports celebrates 22nd anniversary with CSR initiative

Employees collectively sport an ideology ‘Change for the Better’

Leading diamond manufacturing company Hari Krishna Exports, chose to mark achieving 22 years in the industry by adopting a CSR initiative as a part of its offerings. The company celebrated its 22nd anniversary on July 2, 2014. Celebrations underlined the intent of social consciousness and a new outlook.

The company continued its Blood Donation Drive, on July 2nd, repeating as was conducted in February 2014. The one day campaign revolved around the belief ‘It’s in your blood to Save Lives’ which generated a collection of 315 bags of blood donated from employees, customers and bankers who were instrumental in the success of the drive.

Employees engaged in a collective activity of wearing a yellow T-shirt with promoting the concept of ‘Change for the better’.

Mr. Ghanshyam Dholakia said ‘Change for the better' simply put can be adopted in one’s personal as well as professional life. It is almost like a resolution one keeps starting with implementing short term changes and moving on to long term changes for betterment of oneself and the company.”

The new CSR initiative will provide lunch to 100 underprivileged persons, old, widows, etc., on the days that are the birthdays of the company’s customers. The initiative underlines the grace of receiving blessings through charity.
