The Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO), Coimbatore, awarded K Srinivasan, Managing Director of Emerald Jewel Industry India Ltd, Coimbatore, with the 'EO- Entrepreneur of the year 2014’. The awards are conceived as a recognition of commitment and contribution made by the entrepreneurs in helping economic growth, employment generation and showing a commitment towards social responsibilities.

Deloitte collaborated with EO Coimbatore for the same, reports add. The award recognizes young entrepreneurs from the western region of Tamil Nadu including areas of Coimbatore, Tirupur, amongst others, reports say. EO is a community of entrepreneurs, supporting today’s business owners in all aspects of their entrepreneurial journey.

M M Murugappan, Vice Chairman of Murugappa Group, Chennai presented the winners with the awards during a function held for the purpose.
