Leading luxury jewellery and diamond retailer Graff Diamonds has been bestowed with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, in recognition for sustained growth in its international trade over the last three years reports say. This is the fifth occasion the retailer has been honoured with the award. This time, it was contending with over 100 British companies, reports suggest.

The awards platform recognises British businesses which have excelled in international trade, innovation or sustainable development. The Queen’s Award for International Trade is given on the advice of the Prime Minister, after a thorough examination of each application by an Advisory Committee composed of leading representatives from industry. The awards are conferred by Queen Elizabeth II each year on April 21, her birthday, reports suggest.

At present, Graff operates 45 flagship stores across the globe.
