Tiffany & Co. sales up 4% in holiday months

In the holiday months of November – December, luxury retail jewellery entity Tiffany & Co. noted a 4 percent increase in its global sales to $1.03 billion. Same store sales were up 6 percent, while on constant-exchange-rate basis worldwide sales rose 8 percent.

In the Americas in particular, the retailer’s sales rose 6 percent to $550 million and on constant-exchange-rate basis, total sales were up 7 percent, reports say.

The company noted the holiday season to be ‘good’ for it and sales achieved were according to expectations.
