A fire broke in the Swatch Group’s ETA workshop in Grenchen, Switzerland, recently reports say. The facility is reportedly completely destroyed although there have been no human casualties. Also, a prompt action on part of the fireworkers at ETA and those of Grenchen helped control the fire in time, thus preventing it from reaching the neighbouring Swatch factories or other buildings.

ETA, a subsidiary of Swatch Group is a manufacturer of mechanical and automatic watches and watch movements. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
