GSSA to organise the Kimberley Diamond Symposium & Trade Show in Kimberley.

The Geological Society of South Africa (GSSA) has announced that it is organising the Kimberley Diamond Symposium & Trade Show in Kimberley, South Africa in alliance with Mike De Wit, President, Delrand Resources, John Bristow, Chief Operating Officer, Incubex Minerals and former CEO and President of Rockwell Diamonds.

The Kimberley Diamond Symposium & Trade Show will focus on diamond exploration and mining in the Kimberley region and many regions in southern Africa, as well as new developments in Canada, India, Africa and other parts of the world. New technological developments related to exploration, mining and processing and recovery will be discoursed. Also, recent scientific developments in the study of diamond-bearing carrier rocks such as kimberlites and the mantle will be introduced during the Symposium. In addition to that, field trips will be organised to kimberlite pipes and fissure mines, alluvial diamond deposits, old tailings dumps, and historical places of interest as a part of the Symposium.
