diamond world news service

A long-term supply and licensing agreement is signed between Crossworks Manufacturing Ltd. and Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group Ltd., in which Crossworks’ patented hearts and arrows ideal-cut square diamond will be retailed by Chow Tai Fook. After Crossworks supplies Chow Tai Fook with the patented diamond cut the latter will hold the exclusive distribution rights to sell and market the diamond under the Forevermark brand on Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, reports say.

The square-cut hearts and arrows diamond was created to enhance brilliance, fire and scintillation of the stone. Gemological laboratories have given the diamond the ideal grade for light performance including an eight-sided square-cut diamond that exhibits eight hearts and eight arrows to form perfect symmetry. The diamond allows consumers to purchase a diamond that has equal or greater beauty and brilliance to a traditional ideal cut round brilliant diamond, reports say.
