Zale signs multi-year private-label credit card program with Alliance Data

Zale Corporation has signed a multi-year private-label credit card program agreement with Alliance Data Systems Corporation, which is expected to be active after the scheduled Zale’s current U.S. private-label credit card agreement on September 30, 2015.

According to the new agreement with Alliance Data, Alliance Data will through its Comenity Capital Bank (CCB) subsidiary, provide private-label credit cards to customers of Zale in the U.S. This will start by October 1, 2015, reports say. Also, prior to October 1, 2015, CCB has an option to participate in some special financing programs for Zale’s U.S. customers.

Also, after the porgramme is implemented, in the first half of fiscal 2014, Zale will be given marketing, analytical and technical services from Alliance Data, reports say. Alliance Data will also provide tablet and mobile marketing solutions created to optimize cardholder acquisition and retention for fine jewellery. Zale will receive a commencement payment from CCB in July 2013, reports say.
