Macy’s to shut down six stores

Retail giant Macy’s plans to close six of its stores during the spring season this year, reports say. The stores to shut shop include Paseo Colorado, Pasadena, Calif.; downtown Honolulu; downtown St. Paul, Minn.; Belmont, Mass.; and downtown Houston, reports add. Also, a Bloomingdale’s Fashion Show Home Store in Las Vegas in planned to be closed.

The closures are being observed by the company as normal review of its top line. After the closures, there will be 798 Macy stores operational in the United States. There will be 37 full-line and home stores of Bloomingdale’s and 31 Outlet stores, reports add.
