The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), together with the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT), announced preparations for the 73rd Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair at a press conference held on January 22, 2026.
The fair will take place from February 22–26, 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok. Organizers said the event is expected to generate trade value exceeding $ 150 million.
Sunanta Kangvalkulkij of DITP stated that Bangkok Gems has played a key role in connecting global buyers and sellers for more than four decades and has contributed to Thailand’s export growth.
“During the first 11 months of 2025, after deducting re-export values, exports in this category reached $ 12.124 billion, representing growth of over 53 percent,” she said.
She added that the exhibition has expanded to include the Plenary Hall on Level 1, enabling more than 200 additional booths. The 73rd edition will host over 1,300 companies and more than 2,800 booths from over 20 countries, with more than 45,000 visitors expected.
Boonyarit Kalayanamit of GIT said, “More than 80 percent of exhibitors at the fair are Thai manufacturers offering comprehensive OEM and ODM services, which is a key highlight of the fair.”
The opening ceremony will be presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya. A special exhibition will showcase jewelry designs created under her vision and crafted by Thai master artisans.
