Cartier appoints new CEO

Stanislas de Quercize is to take on the new role

A new head will take on the role of chief executive officer (CEO) at Cartier from the end of this calendar year onwards. Stanislas de Quercize will take on the role from Bernard Fornas who has led the luxury company for 10 years. Fornas will continue in a senior management role with the group and as member of Richemont’s group management committee.

De Quercize will continue his current role as CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels (which he has been serving since 2005) until he assumes the new position at Cartier. He has also had an extensive career within the group since 1989, working at Montblanc, Alfred Dunhill and Cartier where he held the post of president in the United States. He will also be included as member of the management committee in time ahead.
