Cartier captures its 165 history in short film

The House of Cartier is sharing its 165 year old history with the general public, in a three and a half minute film made by it. The film is entitled ‘L'Odyssee de Cartier’. Cartier first screened this film at a special premiere at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on February 29. Announcing the international release of the film, it was debuted online on March 4 in the U.S and will air during prime-time on national TV networks.

The film showcases Cartier’s iconic designs like the ‘Tutti Frutti’ style, Maharajas’ jewellery, a reference to the Santos watch. Also supermodel Shalom Harlow is captured showcasing the ‘Lady in the Mansion’ and the Cartier’s symbol of a muse, “The Panther.”

The film was directed by advertising director Bruno Aveillan, while its original score was composed by orchestrator Pierre Adenot, and recorded at London's Abbey Road studios.
