Kiran Gems, a DTC Sightholder has invested further in upgrading its machineries, staying committed to its focus of delivering high standards of quality ‘always’ in its polished diamonds and to enhance its production capacity. Kiran Gems is the largest manufacturer and supplier of polished diamonds under 1 carat. It has earned the repute of being a supplier of polished diamonds with consistency in make and quality across any category and volumes, achieved through periodic appraisal of its production system and regular up-gradation.

The company has invested in additional laser bruiting machines, which significantly enhance time efficiency and quality of output, and help achieve improved shapes of stones ranging from -2 to carat up sizes. Also, it has assigned different set of production systems and machineries based on the value of rough stones and their expected results, namely Galaxy and Helium rough machines.

To cater to production handling over 5.1 million carats of rough diamonds to produce 1.37 million carats of polished diamonds annually, the company has invested in a dedicated technology/machinery testing area where machines based on new technologies are installed and tested for months. The results are recorded and compared against the historical data to check for the viability of adoption. Previously in 2008 Kiran made an entry into Sarin’s “century club” due to its large scale purchase and installation of technologically advanced machines which counts over 300 currently.
