Israel won’t allow imports of Zimbabwean diamonds

Following the indecisive conclusion at the Kimberley Process Intersessional Meeting in Kinshasa, over allowing rough diamond exports from Marange, Israel's Diamond Controller Shmuel Mordechai has stated that Israel will not allow the imports of rough diamonds from Zimbabwe.

The meeting resulted in KP members unable to arrive at a consensus on the exports of Marange diamonds.
