This year’s edition of the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show, which was the 17th, received an overwhelming attendance, registering 38 percent increase in the number of visitors. The show was held at The Paris Hotel Las Vegas from June 2-5th and organised by the US Antique Shows, a major producer of antique shows in North America. This show has been the highest attendance ever, according to the organizers.

The event has gained its popularity, for the scale of merchandise from the antique jewelry and watch industry.

“Opening day attendance was strong. As the days passed, vibrant sales continued”, stated Andrea Canady, Fair Director. “We are happy to report that we surpassed last year’s numbers by a wide margin.” Great traffic, lots of new contacts and sales were reported by a wide array of successful dealers as well.

Some exhibitors responded with optimism: Kurt Rothner from Excalibur of Beverly Hills said: “We really feel that business is back especially if you have the right items”. Jeff Cohen from N Green & Sons in Chicago reported: “We sold a lot of merchandise in many categories from many price points including antique jewelry ranging from $100 to $1000, to a stunning Art Deco Diamond Necklace for $80,000 and a rare Patek Philippe Chronograph 1940s watch for $45,000.00.”
