Bulgari Group’s jewellery revenues rise 29% in Q1'11

At the end of the first quarter of 2011, the Bulgari Group’s overall revenues increased 28 percent to $370.8 million, which was supported by an increase in all segment of its businesses. The jewellery unit revenues increased 29 percent (y-o-y) to $166.6 million. The watch unit revenues rose 22 percent to $73.9 million. The group’s other units include perfumes and cosmetics; accessories; hotel; royalties and other.

Overall sales in its European markets recorded a 17 percent jump, in the Americas by 20 percent, in Asian markets by 34 percent; in the Middle East by 60 percent, in Japan by 11 percent.

The company attributes this to the economic recovery, its attractive product offerings and communication, constant improvement of the shopping experience.
