Alrosa’s rough diamond output at 34.3 million carats in fiscal 2010

At the end of fiscal 2010, ALROSA Group of Companies recorded a marginal increase in rough diamond production over fiscal 2009, to 34.3 million carats. Its combined sales of rough and polished diamonds stood at $3.484 billion, (around $2.2 billion in 2009), and net profit was worth $308.4 million, reports suggest.

These figures are reported to have been pre-approved by the company’s executive committee, although it will be submitted to the supervisory board for final approval and publication.
