Auction of seized jewellery and luxury items to be held in US

Around 300 lots of diamonds, jewellery and watches will be put up for auction by VSE Corporation and Rick Levin & Associates on behalf of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The lots come under the category of seized items. The lots offer a range of diamond studded jewellery including diamond studded bracelets, a necklace crafted with 92 Round Brilliant Cut Diamonds, a princess cut diamond studded ring, besides a natural cushion cut ruby and many more. There are watches from brands including Von Dutch, Gucci, Rolex, Fossil and accessories including writing instruments and others by renowned brands like Mont Blanc amongst others.

The auction is slated for March 9, 2011. A preview of the lots is arranged to be held on March 7 and 8 at the VSE Miami Warehouse in Florida. Revenues generated from the sale will be returned to the U.S. Treasury for the continuation of law enforcement efforts.
