Timex to launch 'Versace' watches in India

Watch maker Timex plans to bring a range of 'Versace' watches in India by early next year, as part of its strategy to launch new products in the Indian market in the near future. The company is focusing on achieve a 30 per cent growth in its overall sales, with doubling of its marketing budget to Rs 30 crore next year and launching around 430 watch models and opening 40 additional stores in the country. It currently has 75 'Time Factory' stores. In 2010, Timex had launched watches from its global portfolio - Salvatore Ferragamo , Marc Ecko , and Nautica and a range designed by Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani.
