F.Hinds Celebrates Third New Store Opening this Year

Founded in 1856, the family-owned and operated jewellers, F.Hinds, now proudly manages 118 stores across England, Scotland, and Wales, in addition to 12 Chapelle outlet stores

F.Hinds has opened a brand-new store at the Prospect Shopping Centre in Hull, marking their third new opening in 2024. Earlier this year, the family-run business expanded to new locations in Yate, near Bristol, and in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire.

With the latest addition in the heart of East Yorkshire, F.Hinds welcomed its first customers on Saturday, May 11th. The new Hull store offers a diverse selection of engagement rings, wedding bands, watches, necklaces, and earrings, featuring both high-profile brands and affordable options to suit all budgets. It also provides a range of services, including jewellery design, remodelling, repairs, and Gold for Cash.

Jeremy Hinds, Sales Director at F.Hinds, commented, "We are thrilled to have opened our doors at the Prospect Shopping Centre in Hull. The continued expansion of our physical retail footprint reinforces our commitment to the UK’s high streets, towns, and city centres. Our first store in East Yorkshire demonstrates our confidence in the area. As a family-run business that prides itself on delivering excellent customer service, bricks-and-mortar retail will always be a priority for us. We have the privilege of being part of some of the most special moments in our customers’ lives, and we look forward to providing the same for the community here in Hull.”

The new opening is a highlight in an exciting year for F.Hinds, which is also celebrating a hat-trick of nominations at the UK Jewellery Awards 2024. The brand, which won Retailer of the Year (for six stores or more) in 2023, looks forward to celebrating the achievements of its team at the 2024 awards ceremony on Wednesday, June 26th.

Among the nominations, F.Hinds is shortlisted for Team of the Year for their Scunthorpe branch, located just across the Humber from Hull. The Scunthorpe team has demonstrated exceptional skill and leadership through challenging times and hopes to further elevate F.Hinds' presence in the region by winning the category.

Established in 1856, the family-owned and operated jewellers now boast 118 F.Hinds stores across England, Scotland, and Wales, in addition to 12 Chapelle outlet stores. The latest addition in Hull marks another milestone in the company's journey of bringing high-quality products and exceptional customer service to communities throughout the UK.
