GIA plans on-site service at Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair 2010

The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is participating in the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair 2010 slated this month with on-site grading services to be provided at its booth. Show-site Gemological Services it will provide include: GIA Colored Stone Identification Reports, including jadeite; GIA Colored Stone Origin Reports for ruby, sapphire and emerald; Redeem GIA GemPasses™ or purchase a GIA GemPassbook™ for special rates on GIA colored stone services.

The lab has outlined that coloured stones be dropped off at the AsiaWorld Expo, booth 7N36, 38, P35, 37 at certain hours between September 14-18.

In addition to the on-site service, the GIA Laboratory Hong Kong will offer grading, laser inscription and sealing services for D-to-Z color diamonds of any carat size through September 20.
