Global diamond Exchange to sell Russian goods

THE Global Diamond Exchange�s New York City diamond district will be fully operational by November 1st. The company expects its first diamond shipment to arrive around the November 3, timed to coincide with the beginning of the 2006 holiday season.

The company said that it has contracts with Russian polishing units to cut and export stones from Russia.
