Shree Ganesh Jewellery House has acquired Sumit Jewels (P), Kolkata as its wholly-owned subsidiary, as reported in a leading media. Sumit Jewels (P) is a company with an integrated diamond jewellery factory located at Manikanchan SEZ, Kolkata.

In another move, Shree Ganesh has opened a subsidiary in Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone, UAE for the purpose of buying semi-finished goods. The company shares dipped 2.43 percent. The total volume of shares traded was 516,148 at the Bombay Stock Exchange today.
