Auction by Saffronart generates $456,477 in sale

Saffronart’s auction held on April 8, 2010, generated $456,477 worth of sales. The auction offered 203 lots and included traditional jewellery items representing India’s heritage culture in jewellery design. The lots presented diamonds, gemstones and natural pearl necklaces.

The top lot in the sale was a five-strand natural pearl necklace being bought for $99,590, followed by a pair of ruby and diamond earclips that were sold for $39,205, while a diamond and coloured diamond necklace was bought for $34,631.
