Jewellery designer Roopa Vohra has created her latest jewellery collection with designs inspired by India’s cultural heritage, as reported in a leading media. The jewellery depicts the 400 year old Moghul art form, narrated through contemporary motifs, and offers earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings, reports say.

The designer has concentrated on making her pieces wearable across generations, and occasions that call for such regal taste in jewellery, once again reinforcing the timeless and classic elegance as the collection’s inspiration evokes, reports add. The pieces in the collection speak of aristocracy, lent by the use precious stones, uncut diamonds rubies, emeralds, sapphires, and south sea pearls.

The designer launched her collection recently at her jewellery lounge in Juhu, Mumbai, with Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon gracing the occasion and wearing some of the pieces on the launch day.
