MMTC’s Festival of Gold gets underway

The MMTC India Limited, a public sector metals trading company, is organising a seven-day 'Festival of Gold' in Mumbai, between December 20 until 26, 2009. The company is expecting a favourable response throughout its Festival, and will display more than one lakh jewellery pieces created by local-jewellers.

The company is also considering to spruce up the festival with a segment – ‘Make your own Jewellery’, during which consumers would be presented with options of jewellery designs to choose from and have them created in gold, diamonds or precious stones. The MMTC is offering to have the selected jewellery delivered to the consumer within three days, as per the size and design requirements of the jewellery.
