HRD Antwerp is extending its certification services for its EU clients, in which it will offer a special Jewellery Report for diamond set jewels. The HRD Antwerp Jewellery Report accurately describes the weight of the jewel and precious metals used, along with the number of diamonds set in the jewel, shape, carat, colour, clarity and cut. A high quality colour photograph of the jewellery piece goes with every report.

“By providing jewellery retailers with an independent, objective analysis of the jewel, we want to further support customer confidence, which is our first priority”, states Georges Brys, General Manager HRD Antwerp. The Report contains all the exclusive security features of a watermark, an embossed logo, fluo marks and micro text, as is found in the full HRD Antwerp Diamond Certificate. The delivery of the report is offered in two variations: a compact report for smaller pieces up to 0.99 ct and the second is a jewellery report for larger pieces which carries an additional detailed picture of the jewel.

The HRD Antwerp offered its first diamond jewellery report to Chinese Vice-President Xi Jinping, during his visit to HRD Antwerp’s Diamond Lab and Antwerp World Diamond Centre on October 9.
