GemeWizard launches GemeFancy™ for grading colour in coloured diamonds

The system helps in accurately defining the colour and value of the coloured diamond

diamond world news service

GemeWizard introduced its latest development called GemeFancy™, to fill in the need for an accurate colour grading system for coloured diamonds. The GemeFancy™ is a digital coloured diamond programme, which helps identify the relative location of colours within the fancy diamond colour range and the accurate colour. It defines values to fancy diamonds colour variations with the standard terminology and the GemeWizard alphanumeric Color Code.

The programme allows the user to exchange the fancy colour information of the diamond by e-mailing Gemewizard images via Gememail.

According to reports, the GemeFancy pricing system offers ease and accuracy in defining the diamond price and a scientific method to collect the pricing data. The system is operated not by parties interested in setting prices, but by information technology people dealing only in gathering data and creating a price list from it. The prices cannot be altered as the system is independent, and operates on the data that it receives, reports say.
