AGS retains retailed Bill Boyajian & Associates, Inc for business consultancy

The firm will begin work for the lab from September 1

The American Gem Society Laboratories, LLC, has retailed Bill Boyajian & Associates, Inc. for consultancy in strategic and operational initiatives, from September 1, 2009 onwards. Bill Boyajian & Associates operates a portfolio of consulting companies in the trade in aspects of leadership, management and business.

“We’re very excited about working with Bill Boyajian & Associates,” says Ronnie Cox, Chairman of the Board of Managers for AGS Laboratories. Cox further added that “Bill Boyajian, of course, spent most of his career with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The Institute is an organisation that shares a close connection with the American Gem Society (AGS) through Robert Shipley’s founding leadership. Not surprisingly, we feel Bill is part of our extended family, and we are pleased to have someone of his caliber and experience working with our laboratory board and management team.”

Mr. Boyajian, an industry veteran, is renowned for his work as an internationally acclaimed author, educator, and speaker. He accries an experience as Managing Director of the World Jewelry Center in Las Vegas, and President of the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, CA.
