The ‘Obama Hope Pin’, a rhinestone lapel pin, and other fine jewellery designed for Barrack Obama’s presidential campaign, will exhibit at Smithsonian's National Museum of American History in Washington DC. The jewellery pieces will be available for sale at the museum’s gift shop. Designer Heide Schmaltz Lasher had introduced the jewellery at the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado, which were acknowledged by the president and his wife at the time of campaign. The jewellery pieces will be exhibited as part of the Political History Collection in the museum.
