Those attending the 2009 CIBJO Congress in Istanbul, Turkey, can now find the event’s programme on CIBJO’s (the World Jewellery Confederation) dedicated congress website at http://congress2009.cibjo.org. The Congress spans from May 3 through May 5 at the Sheraton Istanbul Ataköy Hotel. "Current registration figures indicate that we will welcome more than 120 official delegates to this year's congress," said CIBJO President Gaetano Cavalieri.

The information on the website now includes details for those persons accompanying congress delegates, allowing them to review the sightseeing tours that will be offered. Also posted is information about speakers at the Congress, a background about the Turkish jewellery industry and the city of Istanbul. CIBJO is planning to release the Digital Congress Binder containing all the agendas and relevant documents of the congress proceedings, including the General Assembly, the CIBJO Sectors and CIBJO Commissions, later this week.
