GIA offers Holiday Express service

Will deliver results within three days

The Holiday Express Service, courtesy the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), will be operational between December 1 - December 19, 2008, as announced by the Association. “Due to the busy holiday season, we want to ensure our clients are given the option for accelerated service,” said Tom Moses, senior vice president, GIA Laboratory and Research.

The Holiday Express Service offers expedited services upon request. The customer can obtain results within three days, excluding shipping time. The turnaround time will be quoted to every customer on a case-by-case basis, depending on the day’s volume. “Our Laboratory works especially diligently during this time to continue to provide excellent customer service.” Moses continued.

To utilise this service, customers must contact the GIA Laboratory prior to sending in their stones and indicate a request for expedited service.
