Sarin develops retail solutions

diamond world news service

The September Hong Kong Jewellery and Watch Fair will be seeing a new approach from Sarin Technologies Ltd., which intends to approach retail jewellers with its on-the-counter diamond grading and branding systems. The retailer package will include Sarin products like: DiaScan™ S+ cut proportion grading system, Colibri™ diamond colour grading device and DiaScribe™ laser inscription system.

"Retailers are facing fierce competition, not only from other brick-and-mortar operations, but also, increasingly, from the sale of diamonds to consumers via the Internet. By using the Sarin devices, the retail jeweller can offer more independent, objective information about the quality of the diamond jewelry on sale, better educate the consumer and, subsequently, sell more diamonds," said Sarin's Marketing Director, David Wexler.

The HK Show is scheduled to be held between September 17-21, 2008.
