Chairman & Managing Director of Fine Jewellery India Ltd., Mr. Prem Kumar Kothari has been honoured with the “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the Retail Jeweller Awards 2008 ceremony.

He has been recognised for his contributions to the entire industry, for being instrumental in simplifying the implementation of government policy and introducing the Indian jewellery manufacturing units to latest technologies, rhoguh his 19-years of working closely with Gems & Jewellery Associations.

The Jury at the award comprised of Mr. Prasad Kapre (Director – Forevermark, India), Ms. Vaishali Banerjee (Manager – PGI, India), Mr. Tamjid Abdullah (Deputy Manager Director – Damas, UAE), Mr. Rohil Bal ( Indias leading Fashion Designer), Dharmesh Sodha (Director – World Gold Council), Dhunji S Wadia (Managing Partner – J Walter Thompson, Mumbai).
