diamond world news service

The House of VOILA performed the Asian launch of its Beijing Dream watch collection, inspired by the architecture and spirit of the ongoing Olympic games at Beijing. The design of the watches incorporates the essence of the award winning "birds nest" national stadium at the Olympics.

An inter weave of micro-steel bars crave an intricate mesh to symbolically represent preserving the ‘luxury of Time’. The 12 hourly markers are indicative of the stadium's exit lanes with rows of spectator seats ascending over the center field. Its 46 brilliant cut diamonds set on its inner rim illuminate time as the stadium's flood lights would do on an event eve. The Collection conforms to International ROHS standards, and incorporates the Swiss Made Ronda movement. It is available in hand stitched Chinese silk brocade strap wrapped around in soft Italian calf leather or in an alligator leather strap.

VOILA collections are evolving with discerning lifestyle changes on wrists of today. Roger Khemlani, Creative Director of The House of VOILA said, "Fashion is taking the lead role if not equal in wrist watch design and the House of VOILA has proudly lead this revolution since 2002." VOILA, as a brand prides in being an innovative upscale brand, and a trendsetter in the industry.

The Beijing Dream collection has been well appreciated at Baselworld and numerous industry connoisseurs and is being retailed in major outlets, and exclusive VOILA showrooms in Japan and the Middle East.
