RapNet to launch multi-lingual portal

Will be an open window for trade in China and for Chinese diamond traders

August 8 2008, the RapNet Diamond Trading Network plans to launch its diamond trading network www.RapNet.cn. The portal will be available as a multi-lingual Chinese and English portal. The RapNet China portal will deliver a direct access for the Chinese buyers to the global diamond markets and vice versa. Diamond traders in the Far East can have direct dealings with each other also, without paying a commission.

The effort has been the result of cooperation between RapNet and Rapaport Diamond (Shanghai) Ltd., which further is a member of the Shanghai Diamond Exchange since 2006, with the license to conduct business in China. Those logging onto the portal will be will provided with a full range of support, fulfillment, shipping and clearing house services including guaranteed diamond transactions for RapNet members who want to tap the Chinese market. The RapNet Diamond Trading Network is a group company of the Rapaport Group.
