Rapaport conference to discuss industry’s future

"2010 —The Next Decade: The Future of the Diamond Industry," is defined as topic of discussion for the forthcoming annual Rapaport International Diamond Conference. The event is decided to be held on 8 September 2008 at the Grand Ballroom of The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, in New York City.

Invited speakers - Ralph Destino, chairman of the Gemological Institute of America; Neal Goldberg, president and Chief Executive Officer of Zale Corp.; and Rahul Kadakia, senior vice president of Christie's Americas, will discuss topics like new economics of globalisation, technology, branding and marketing, and commoditisation. The event is sponsored by the Rapaport Group.
